Testimonial (A) 9 years old.

With no preamble we simply asked (A) to put on a Uamal blackout mask and asked her what she could see. She was able with confidence to point at and correctly indentify objects around the room.
We gave her a stub of a candle which she immediately said was red. This was not that amazing as virtually all our candles are red. We then presented her with coloured pieces of plastic from a 3D puzzle. She managed 4 perfectly but said red when holding a dark pink piece. I then held up 3 fingers which she got straightaway.
It then got interesting. Without any instructions (A) walked nonchalantly across the room to a side table and casually picked up her drink. A few moments later she returned it to the exact same spot!
When asked to describe what she was seeing she explained that everything was a little fuzzy.
